Apps :P

Okay, so Mexico is only one week and three days away!!!!! AHHHH!!!!! So excited :)

We have to do a lot of preparation for it .... Mom and I are having to do cardio exercises like jogging and running around the block so we don't get altitude sickness when we go down there. And then there's the shots ... luckily, I had all mine, but Mom had to get four. :( And then there's all the dance practice, and the fear that you'll get sick from food or water poisoning, stuff like that.

One cool thing about it is that you have to be careful and watch out for pick-pockets. That doesn't sound cool at first, but Mom and I are wearing these secret pouches that we'll hide our money and stuff in --- it makes me feel like Dan and Amy from the 39 Clues. :P

But, anyway, it's going to be a long plane ride. Since I doubt I could read the entire time (we have limited luggage space, and if I read all my books on the plane ....) I decided that I was going to stock up on fun apps for my NOOK before I go.

Two really fun apps I bought today are Cut the Rope and Plants vs. Zombies. Plants vs. Zombies sounds really, really gross, but it's actually really fun and addicting. The idea is, you're supposed to defend your house from brain-eating zombies, and you have a bunch of different plants in your arsenal to use against them. There's wall-nuts (you can guess what they do), peashooters, sunflowers, fume-shrooms, and a whole lot more. It's EXTREMELY addicting .... I'm having trouble saving the game for the plane --- I want to finish it all now! :) What I like about this game, too, is that my brothers can play it without bugging me, asking to play it on my nook. They can play it online, at popcap.com.

But, back to Cut the Rope. I like that game because of Om Nom, the little creature who loves candy. He's so adorable!!! That's pretty much why I play the game anyway. :) Here's some videos I found about Om Nom coming into the world (it's so cute...)

Isn't he adorable????
So. This was a random post, and if you made it to the end, then: yay! I hope I didn't bore you. :) More Mexico updates later!!!!! (And I'll try to post pictures when I get back, but you all know how bad I am with those kind of promises ;) )
What are your favorite apps?

The Things of Life

Couldn't think of anything else to title it. :)

This is a kind of a life update/really random/ I-do-this-cause-I'm-bored kind of post. So, anyway, I'll start with Top 10.

I'm skipping days 27 and 28: things I wish I could change about myself, and regrets. That would be awkward.

Sooo, day 29; 10 wishes. I wish:

1.  I could go to Disney World at least once every year or every two years
2. I could be in a movie
3. I could get my book published
4. I could spend an extended period of time on a beach:)
5. I could have a lifetime supply of chocolate, Swedish Fish, and ice cream
6. I could  own all my favorite movies
7. I could own all my favorite books
8. I could live in a mansion with a bunch of secret passageways and rooms for my nerdiness (ex., a super-spy room where they scan your hand to get in and the bed folds into the wall, stuff like that.)
9. I could own an epically awesome treehouse
10. I could have an iPhone

Then (finally...the last Top 10!) Day 30; 10 places I want to visit. Well, the first one is so terrifically easy....

1. ENGLAND!!!!!! ♥
2. Scotland
3. Ireland
4. Disney World (again)
5. Mexico (:D)
6. Israel
7. Jakarta, Indonesia (my pen pal lives there)
8. Hawaii
9. LONDON!!!!!!
10. New York City

And that's it, folks. The last top 10. :)

Well, as I said earlier, I'm bored. So I decided I would list my most recent obsession -- an awesome obsession, in my opinion.

Wait for it .....

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!!!!!!

The reason I'm so quickly obsessed is probably/mostly because of Jack Sparrow. ♥ He's so strangely, awesomely, funnily awesome. (Is funnily a word? ...)

So, to celebrate my obsession, here's some pictures.

Gotta love Jack.

And about another of my obsessions -- Harry Potter! Well, more the HP Night.

My mom's going to talk to my dad about available times this weekend, so I don't promise anything. Are you guys free this weekend? It would be awesome if you were, but again, I can't guarantee anything.

And also -- I now own Chamber of Secrets, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, and Half-Blood Prince. Could you remind me which ones you all have so that way I can know which ones to rent? I won't rent them yet -- it depends on whether you're free this weekend and whether my dad gives the OK.

So excited!!! :)

Hiya.

Hey.

I'm kinda bored.

And sick. :(

I've been watching Star Trek lately....you know, the old TV series? With William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy? It's good. Watch it.

I've also been reading Peter and the Starcatchers, The Kingdom Keepers, and Pride and Prejudice. All good books, especially Peter and the Starcatchers and P&P.

Speaking of P&P, have you ever read it? (It's okay, Grace...you don't need to answer ☺) It's a good book, but sometimes hard to follow. If you want to read it, I suggest you watch the movie first, and only read the book in small sessions. You can't read it in a single sitting, believe me, or you'll begin to doze off a little. NOT LIKE IT'S BORING! It's just ... dry sometimes if you try to read it all at once.

The movie Dr. Suess's The Lorax came out on Friday! Do you want to see it? I'll review it later, when it comes out on DVD. Unless I go see it in the theaters earlier.

Yay! You've stuck with me this far! Good for you!

Yeah. Hey, speaking of movies, guess what? I'm allowed to see Courageous now!!!! Whoopee!!!!

This is just a random little question....but, for a FIRST name, do you think Darcy is a boyish name or a girlish name?

Wow. This is the most random post I've come up with so far. Lucky for you, I don't have anything else to say.

Bekah♥
