HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!! -Hermione

I know it's a day late. But Happy Christmas anyway. ;) What did you guys get???? What's your favorite gift so far? Speak up now, don't be shy. ;)

This is a panorama shot of my living room, with the new something I got this year. I won't say yet, that would spoil the surprise. Unless you already know.

My Christmas pajamas

My letter to Santa, from Voldemort. :)

Our Christmas ornament countdown

A family tradition of ours is, once we're all asleep, Mom and Dad will string Christmas lights through the hallway. It's a fun tradition: I like it a lot.

Now on to presents!!!! ;) My second favorite gift is:

:D With a bunch of...

BONUS FEATURES!!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!

I also got tshirts, B&BW stuff, books (duh), movies such as Captain America and DH Part 1, two pairs of boots, the newest 39 Clues book Trust No One, and a pretty journal. There was more, smaller stuff, but I forget the rest.

But now --- finally --- for the best Christmas present I got of all......

An iPod touch 5th generation!!!! In absolutely gorgeous BLUE!!!!!!

This is more of a Christmas present to myself (I paid for it with Christmas money, babysitting money, and my NaNoWriMo prize money (courtesy of Dad). I hope you know what I mean by that)

But I love it sooooo much. It's beautiful.

But for all you friends of mine out there who have Apple products, this means we can FACETIME!!!! Yay!!!!! I no longer feel like I'm on the other side of the planet from you guys. Next time I see you, I'll get your number and/or email.

Oh, like the Marvel t-shirt, too? My brother got that for me. <3

This is at my grandpa's house. I call him the King of Christmas. Haha(:

 Ben's Christmas present for Dad

And now I present to you....Siri. :) She's soooo funny!

:D How did your Christmas go?  No snow, sadly...but now, the day after, (at least at my house anyway) we are in the middle of a blizzard!!!! its snowing like CRAZY!!!! I'll be able to snowboard by noon, and it only just started an hour ago!!!

I'm a Geek

This is SO random, what with the world ending tomorrow and all. ;)

But I'm going to take a moment to geek out for a sec. If you haven't seen Thor and/or The Avengers (you should!) then move along. :)

So, if I haven't told you already, my favorite character from that franchise is Loki. ♥ I know he's the villain, I know, I know. I don't like him because the actor is ..... hot or anything (I don't even like using that word...blech) I like Loki because I am determined he will turn good at some point.

There. I said it.

I'm not a part of his army. I'm not obsessed with villains. I'm rooting for him to turn good, that's all, and he's my favorite because it's interesting to watch him to see foreshadowings of that fact. (And there are foreshadowings.) One thing I like about Tom Hiddleston, the guy who plays Loki, is that he is a very good actor. You can see these foreshadowings just by something simple, like a hesitation in his eyes. (No, I am not crazy. :3 It's totally true. Watch him in The Avengers, closely.)

I'm so excited for Thor 2: Dark World, and The Avengers 2. All I know about Thor 2: Dark World is that Loki isn't the main bad guy --- it's some Dark Elf named Malekith. I'm excited to see if Loki has a change of heart in either of the movies. :D

So who feels the same way? Who doesn't feel the same way? What are your thoughts?

(I don't just like Loki, by the way. Cap is awesome.♥)

P.S. Here's a video I found on YouTube. I thought it was sweet, but I would've picked another song. It's made for lovers, not brothers (ooh, that rhymed!) and it's a bit awkward at times. But I still like the video. :)

Christmas Spirit

Wow. I haven't posted in a while. Sorry, guys. :-)

Problem is, I just couldn't think of anything to post about. It's been bad. Blogger's block. (Hey, that's actually not as stupid as I thought it would be.)

*hem hem*

Anyway.

Christmas is finally getting CLOSER.......YAY!!!! Yet, for some stupid reason, I can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit. Now, I know that Christmas is all about Jesus, and the wonderful Gift God gave us. But the Christmas spirit helps a lot --- you know, Christmas cheer and all.

I've tried everything --- egg nog, Christmas music, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, reading the Christmas story in the Bible, staring at all our decorations, wearing my special Christmas socks, even going to the mall to watch Santa freak people out and eat in the cafe under the Christmas lights.

Still, I'm getting nothing. Is something wrong with me? Am I the only one like this?

*sighs*

I guess it's a part of getting older. Which totally stinks.

But anyway, as a part of my attempt to start feeling Christmas-y, I'm going to do a Christmas quiz thing! Yay! It's kind of like a Top 10, but I'm doing Top 5. Because I'm lazy. (Not in any particular order)

Top 5 Christmas Movies

1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
2. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
3. Frosty the Snowman
4. Home Alone ;D
5. A Christmas Carol

Top 5 Christmas Songs (right now, because I have a bunch)

1. What Child is This (First Noel Prelude) by Francesca Battistelli
2. The Christmas Song by Francesca Battistelli
3. Heaven Everywhere by Francesca Battistelli
4. O Come O Come Emmanuel by (guess who) Francesca Battistelli (I really like her Christmas album, duh:)
5. Carol of the Bells

Top 5 LEAST Favorite Christmas Songs

1. Santa Baby (this time I'm really going in order.....BLECH!!!! she's seducing Santa >.<)
2. All I Want for Christmas is You (I thought this was so stupid. "I don't care about the presents underneath the tree"? Your boyfriend should be the one giving you presents. Though, this song is pretty catchy. It has a nice beat.)
3. Pretty much all Justin Bieber versions of Christmas music
4. The Christmas Song (now, this depends on the version. Francesca's version I like, because it's happy and upbeat, but all the other versions are so sad. I mean, come on, people.)
5. I'll Be Home for Christmas (SO SAD!)

Top 5 Favorite Christmas Traditions

1. Waking up and seeing Christmas lights in the hallway on Christmas morning
2. Throwing a party (for our family) when we set up the Christmas tree, all while eating chips, dip, and taking advantage of the infamous chocolate fountain
3. Reading the Christmas Story (did you know that Mary was thirteen or fourteen years old when she was pregnant with Jesus? Life expectancy wasn't that long back then) and 'Twas the Night before Christmas on Christmas Eve
4.  Decorating cookies and writing notes for Santa (ahem...scratch that. Dad.)
5. Visiting all the relatives on Christmas Day

Top 5 Favorite Christmas Accessories

1. My Santa socks
2. My fuzzy red and green socks
3. My jingle bell earrings
4. My penguin pajamas
5. My other Christmas pajamas that I can't think of right now

So. There you go. Top 5 Christmas stuff. Are you guys having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit? And what are your Top 5?
